Mommy and Paigey Like To Color

Who doesn't love a little coloring and cartoons on a Saturday morning!  My little girl says, "Mama, color with me?" how can anyone turn that down?!

Paige Sings the ABCs...Well Kind Of

You can tell they have been working on the ABCs at daycare because Paige has decided to start singing them at home.  Enjoy this video or her it cracks me up!

Paige's 2 year pictures sneak peak!

Well we had family pictures and Paige's 2 year pictures.  It was cold outside and Paige didn't really want to be there.  I love Megan because she always finds a way of getting amazing pictures of our little girl!  There will be more pictures to come but Megan gave me a sneak peak early because I was worried they didn't turn out since Paige gave up so early.  Enjoy our pictures!!!

PS - I will be doing more blogs to catch up probably tonight.  We have a funny video to share and more pictures!

Just Another Day at Housby

Well as most of you know I work for Housby Mack which is a semi truck dealership to explain it lightly.  Well we also own an auction company where companies can sell their vocational equipment.  So yesterday when I found out that we had street sweepers at our office I was freaking out with excitement.  So after work yesterday my friend/co-worker Phil and I ran outside with Marcus who was going to give us a quick guide on how to drive it.  As you can tell by my smile on my face I was so excited.  I told my mom that whenever am I going to have the chance to drive one of these ever again!  Rob explained it as its just one of those vehicles that if you have the option you are absolutely going to drive it...kind of like a Zamboni.  Hopefully today we get another piece of awesome equipment to drive!

Paige's New Bike

Here are some pictures of Paigey on her new bike.  She absolutely loves it.  She's almost figured out the whole peddling thing.  Enjoy the pictures of our ever growing little girl!

Easter

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!  We did at our house.  The Easter bunny visited as well as a special basket from Grammie Gail and Papa Rick.  We spent the afternoon in Des Moines with my mom's side of the family.  It was nice to see some of the Vander Waal's and of course eat the delicious food.  Hope all of you had special days with your family as well.

Paige wouldn't let me take a picture of her outfit so we took one together

Laek and Sean's Birthday Party

Saturday we celebrated Laek and Sean Sullivan's birthdays!  Most of you know my 2 best friends Pat and Graham are getting married and they have two beautiful children.  Well our kids are almost exactly 1 year apart.  Laek turned 3 today actually (Happy Birthday!), Paige turned 2, and Sean turned 1 March 28th.  So we celebrate around the same time every year.  Rob and I went to the party early so that we could exchange gifts with our kids.  Pat and Graham got Paige her tricycle.  She couldn't be more happy.  Graham is also doing some of her crafty goodness on a chalkboard for Miss Paige as well.  We had so much fun celebrating.  Laek and Paige even had a dance party when it was time for PJs and for us to go home.  You'll notice Paige is reliving her Mommy's past with a nice pair of big red and black poms!

Paige's New Hat and Chair

It was a very exciting day in the Hartz household yesterday.  That's right it was opening day for baseball season!  We got about 6 innings in before our little girl had had enough.  But we did get her to yell a little bit for our beloved St. Louis Cardinals.  Today in the mail Paige got a new hat.  It's her pink STL Cardinals hat!  She was so excited to finally have a hat of her own.  After being out at Rob's parents when it was really nice I realized my little girl needs a hat to protect her head and face.  So we went with this very girly baseball hat.  She LOVES it!  Her mom wishes they made them in mommy sizes.

The last picture is of Paige with her new beanbag chair.  It's supposed to be for Easter, but since she has no idea what that is we just went with it.  She loves that too!  We hope everyone has a good Easter holiday weekend.

A Day Outside

Well for those of you not in Iowa, we have had an unseasonably warm spring so far.  As you can tell by the pictures my daughter is in a tank top and shorts on April 1st.  Sunday was almost 90 degrees so we thought we would take advantage of it and get outside.  We played and played and even got to spend some time w/ our old duplex neighbors/friends Brittney and Justin.

PS - You'll see in the pictures Paige playing and dunking the basketball.  Rob is prepping her for her future.  We went to the doctor today and found out she is 35.5 inches tall.  She is going to be one tall girl when she's older, guess she's not a Vander Waal/Van Zee
Half of these toys came from her birthday, she's not spoiled or anything

Kristin Hartz these are for you....here she is playing basketball!

Slam dunk!

Funny faces with Daddy

She loves playing with water

Thank you Britt for taking this amazing picture of me and my little girl!!  I LOVE IT!!

Paigey at church

Some of you know but we have finally found a church to join.  We are so thankful to have this as a part of our life.  Paige loves going to church.  Rob rolled his eyes at me when I took this picture, but Paige thought she was a big girl and didn't need either of us to go up front with her for the children's moment.  But she marched up front for Palm Sunday and collected her palm.  She didn't really want to walk around the church though w/out Mom and Dad.  She was so proud of herself!  Thought I would share this picture with all of you!

Paige Noelle Hartz is 2!!

First off, thank you for all the kind emails and messages about my last blog.  I was feeling sappy that day and just wanted to share it with everyone.  I truly enjoy this blog and sharing our little world with everyone.

Ok!  Well Saturday Paige turned 2!  She woke us up bright at early and was ready to start the day.  She opened her presents from us right away in the morning.  My mom came up before the party to keep Paige busy in case I had some last minute cooking to do or needed to shower.  Then all of our family came and we had a party.  Paige had an absolute blast!  She didn't get a nap until about 2:00 which is 2 hours later then she normally goes to bed and if you know our kid she loves her schedule.  So needless to say the rest of the was a little rough for us.  But enjoy all of the pictures!!
