Those Hartz Kids

Well I haven't just updated on my kids in a while.  First off Henry is a full fledged walker.  He's been walking for almost a month.  Rob and I have been trying to get video or photos but I'll tell you that kid is fast.  He knows where he wants to go and how he's going to get there.  He thinks he is the COOLEST kid in the world.  He's learning to climb up stairs or into chairs.  I think he's had his last bottle and I almost cried tonight when I figured that out (so did Paige).  He's had only whole milk today and it didn't seem to bother him at all.  Daycare ran out of formula and our can is basically gone, so Rob and I made the executive decision to just switch him over.  I do think he likes whole milk better then skim as he's been testing out skim for a while.  He's just becoming more and more a big boy.  He's going to be one so soon.

My Paigey is still amazing!  She does things more and more that makes me realize that she's not a toddler but a little girl.  She's independent, strong willed, blunt, caring, and sassy, hmm I wonder who's kid she is.  I'm totally blaming it all on Rob (yeah right).  Rob was gone this past week for 3 days for work and she was the biggest helper to me.  I think we had better mornings and better bedtimes then we do when Dad is home.  I think she knows when one of us is home alone with the kids that we just need her help.  She is in her last week in her current room in daycare and I'm hoping she transitions well next week.  This is the first room that she has told me she doesn't want to leave so we'll see.

Breakfast while Daddy was gone

Henry saw Paige changing clothes in the morning and decided he didn't need a shirt.  So I had to take it off.

Henry and I today at the park
Rob and I are still doing great.  We're super both super busy with work so we're trying to just find time to spend just us.  Our summer schedule has started as well which means busy weekends.  But it also usually means LOTS of fun.  Our garden is in and now Paige just keeps watching it.  Luckily we have lettuce and snap peas sprouting so she's very excited!!  We hope everyone is doing well.

Mother's Day Program

So Paige's class had a Mother's Day program the Friday before Mother's Day.  They all came filing into the room and stood directly in front of their mom and grandmas.  I was so excited for Paigey because not only was I there but my Mom and Gail (Rob's Mom) were able to come as well.  So Paigey was a very lucky girl to have her mom and 2 grandmas at the event.  They sang us so many songs and then we went to her classroom and ate muffins that the kids had prepared the day before.  Have I expressed how much I love her teachers!!  So sad that next week is her last week in this room.  Now I count down the days till Henry gets to be in that room!!

We of course had to go get Henry from his room!

On mother's day we got to actually relax at home.  It was so nice to just get to spend the day home with my family.  We went out to breakfast as a family and just relaxed.  Here are some pictures from that day.

Henry got a new bike helmet and likes to wear it everywhere

my kiddos and I

Henry thinks hes so cool that he can climb in this chair by himself.

someone is learning that hose water is very cold.  But she still had fun.

Zoo Field Trip

****UPDATE: Sorry that most of the pictures didn't show up the first time.  Something happened with the pictures on my phone that apparently were linked to this blog.  Who knows but I fixed it!****

Well today I went on Paige's last field trip in her current daycare room.  It was cold out!!  But we had so much fun.  Paige was a little bummed because some of the animals weren't out because of the cold, but I told her there is plenty of summer left to come to the zoo.  Paige and I walked with her best friend Hudson and his mom.  Tonia and I have a good time chatting away and Hudson and Paige just run and run.  We're already sad that they wont go to Kindergarden together, so we'll just have to start hanging out more.  There are a ton of pictures so enjoy!  I will try and write names of the kids on there.

Hudson and Paige at the beginning...can't you tell their cold

Half of her class watching the otters...they LOVED this.

Hudson, Carter, Paige and Kylie

She's 3 1/2 feet tall!

Riding the train!

Hudson and Paige feeding the fish

So funny to watch these two...Hudson feeds all animals one piece at a time.  Paige just gets rid of it pretty quick.  So she took most Hudson's food.

The whole class with the cow!  I like the look on all of their faces.

Carter and Paigey

Trying to milk the cow that didn't have any milk today

These two just entertain me!!

This is all of the parents and kids that went to the zoo.  It was so much fun to get to know some of the parents and hang out with the kids that spend everyday with Paigey since they were 1.
I had so much fun today with Paigey's class.  They are an energetic bunch of 4 year olds.  I'm so thankful for those teachers who are with them all day everyday.  They do an amazing job!  Thank you Denise and Lisa!!!

Big Kid Haircuts!

Yesterday I decided the Hartz kids needed haircuts and I didn't want to do it myself.  After a little bit of having to convince Rob they would do ok, we were off to Cost Cutters.  This is Henry's first time getting his hair cut not by Mama.  But considering I've given him I think 12 haircuts in the almost first year of his life.  Paigey got her hair cut too and did amazing!!  I love the two ladies who cut their hair, they even gave me their names because I'm going to go back to them forever.  Enjoy the pictures!!

I feel like I already know what prom pictures will look like in my backyard.  She put all of this one and went strutting outside.  I laughed so hard!
