Kids Professional Pictures

My wonderful friend Megan took great pictures of my kids again!!  These are Henry's 6 month pictures and I just realized I haven't shared these with everyone yet.  You know Henry can't have a photo session without his sister being involved.

Next blog will be me finally debuting Henry's modeling.  For those of you who live in Newton I found out that his ad was in the advertiser on Wednesday.  Otherwise it will be in Sunday papers.

Thanks!

HENRY CRAWLING!

Well it's official my Henry is crawling.  He's been looking like he was going to for about 3 weeks.  I thought it would happen when Rob and Paige were in Chicago last weekend but it didn't.  Rob and I showed up to daycare yesterday to pick up the kids and the girls had a look of excitement on their faces.  I looked at them and said, "He crawled today didn't he?"  They videoed it and the video is on this blog.  To watch it you'll have to go to my actual blog it wont work in the email.

We did get him to finally do it at home.  This little boy is on the move!!  We couldn't be more excited!!

Henry's Baby Blessing

Well today was an exciting and important day at our house.  Henry was blessed/dedicated at church this morning.  We were joined with all of the grandparents at church with us (Thank you mom for taking pictures).  Henry and another little girl were both blessed during the service.  Henry did great considering the church service was during nap time.  He even let our pastor walk him up and down the aisles.  I talked to our pastor afterwards and told him I felt I should have warned him at how solid Henry is.  He told me you aren't kidding!  Big sister Paige decided she needed to be up front with us but then got bored haha.  We are so glad to have a church home and a place to raise our kids in.  Enjoy all of the pictures!

Happy New Year!

Well this is going to be a fast post with mostly pictures.  Our New Years day was spent being lazy all day and it was amazing.  Rob and I got new cell phones so I took a bunch of pictures.

I also made baby food all day.  I made 5 different kinds.  But we are stocked now!

Henry is teething so that's why so many pictures have his paci in them.  It's been a rough go for this boy.

Christmas With The Hartz Family

The Saturday after Christmas we were off to Rick and Gail's to have Christmas.  It was an amazing day outside.  The kids got to go sledding and play in the snow after naptime.  I didn't catch any pictures of that as Kristin and I went uptown in Newton and did some shopping :)

We started our adventures with finding the pickle ornament.  I believe I've talked about the pickle ornament in previous blogs.  It's a tradition Rob has done in his family for as long as he can remember.  We are now teaching our kids how to do it.  They each got a turn to do it individually.  Then it was time for us kids to do it.  We're all pretty competitive about it even though we act like we're done.  Paige I guess is competitive as well because she started crying when Uncle Ryan won.  He wanted Mom or Dad to win.  I told her it was ok for Uncle Ryan to win because he never does HA!

Here they all are with their prizes they won for finding the ornament.  TARGET GIFTCARDS!  Does their Grammie know where they all like to go or what?!

When I was loading the pictures on for this blog I realized I took a bunch of pictures of Rob's grandpa Virgil with Henry.  Henry absolutely loves Grandpa and Grandpa is pretty fond of him as well.  They could hang out all day together.  It melts my heart to see them together.  Virgil is one of the greatest men I know and is now so much a grandpa to me since I no longer have either of mine.

Here are the Hartz grandkids, including Snuggs trying to get in the picture

Just some of the Hartz men in my life

After pictures it was PRESENT TIME!!!

This is how Henry watch presents being opened.  Just all snuggled in with Great Grandpa

Paige was so excited to find out that she got a horse for her doll.  She was PUMPED.

Such a great day with Rob's family.  Our kids play so well together and I'm thankful for that.  It's always great when Rob and Ryan get together.  Kristin and I have been known to have some fun as well.  Thanks Rick and Gail for letting our crazy come into your house, though I know you love every minute of it!

The Rest of Christmas Day

So the rest of our Christmas was a bit on the go.  We packed up at our house after we were all done with presents and headed to Grandma Greta's house.  We of course were the first ones there and hung out for awhile.  My sister and her family and my Grandma and husband came down for lunch.  It was an amazing lunch!  I didn't take very many pictures, but the ones below are just the boys hanging out.  The ones of Henry and my nephew Colin are my favorites.  Colin was sitting there playing with Henry's toys and Henry was just watching his every move.

After nap time it was off to Papa Gary and Grandma Pat's house.  Oh what a loud house it was that night!  With 8 grandkids going crazy.  Grandma Pat set it up this time for the kids to open presents before dinner.  They were so excited.

Robert, Me, Tony, Heather, Brett, and Chantelle

So the 3 middle girls all opened one of their presents all together.  My nieces received American Girl dolls, Paigey however (because her parents are a bummer) got a very close version of it.  To say the girls were excited would be an understatement.

Paige and Henry received so many amazing gifts from their grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Little man was so excited he fell asleep with all the crazy going on

Here is the kids table!

I love this picture.  Just the little boys playing.  Henry is on the left, Chase in the middle (Chantelle's youngest), and Colin on the right (Heather's youngest)

I have a little boy so close to crawling.  I tried to catch a picture of him up on all fours.

All of the grandkids.  Chantelle's three on the left, Heather's three in the middle, and my two on the end

We had so much fun celebrating with my family.  We were all exhausted at the end of the day though.  Paige got sick of sharing, Henry ruined his outfit to the point we had to take him home in a shirt, diaper and socks.  Rob and I were done by the end of the day!  But we're thankful that we got to spend the day with my parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews!
