We're still here!

Wow where did the time go? We're still here and trucking! The holidays flew by with so many things to be thankful for.  We had 5 family Christmas' we went to which means a lot of time with cousins that we don't get to see that often. My business was busier then ever before. I actually had to take 2 days off of my full time job to complete orders and had to shut the store down for a bit so that I could focus on the holidays with my family. Work was busy as well but we have an amazing staff that we were more successful then ever before.  Rob's work thankfully is not crazy this time of year. Paige is back to school and into 2nd semester. She has learned so much so far this year. Her reading skills are awesome and watching her learn math is so cool. She tells us that she's really good at it.  I told her we aren't so shocked by that as she comes from families of people good with numbers. Henry is still loving 3 year old preschool but already talks to me about going to the "big kid room".  He wants to be just like his big sister. He has started learning how to write his name and recognize letters and letter sounds. Paige loves quizzing him on it of course.

Sports in the fall kept us busy. We are just at the very beginning our of sport life with these two. Paige did soccer and still can't stop talking about it. Henry also did soccer and by week 2 told us he doesn't like it.  This has led us to make some big decisions in the sports world. Paige is now signed up for club soccer (what are we doing?!). She starts practice at the end of March and plays through May. Henry then picks up t-ball through Ankeny Little League and will play through July I believe.  Paige will then start practice for fall softball. I have no idea how long that season lasts but she's already excited.

We are already looking forward to summer and our vacations we have planned. Florida is sounding pretty nice right about now.

Please enjoy the major photo dump. This isn't everything but a few of my favorites from all that has happened in December and January so far.

Also I swear our Happy New Year card (yeah we missed Christmas) is on it's way.

My niece Elise super excited about her water bottle I made

This girl got a sewing machine and is a natural

Oh Grandpa Virgil and Henry are the best of buds. The two of them together makes my heart explode

These two love every minute they get together. They are tomboy sports playing girls and they get each other.
Sometimes to get a good picture you just have to let them all go crazy

Hartz ladies

Putting down new electronics is hard

These boys played so hard together on Christmas day.  This is Dutch my cousins son and Henry.

Paige got to play with Hanna and Dutch's Christmas presents

New Years Eve and hair chalk for these ladies

We got together again this New Years Eve with our college friends.  Our group of kids keeps getting bigger and louder. But man did they all have a good time.

A lot of crafts going on in our house lately.  Purler beads are the newest obsession. Had to get Henry his own set so he could be part of the fun.

These are two pictures I got today from daycare.  Henry working on writing his name.  He did a pretty good job if I do say so myself!
