Paige & T-Ball

Well it's officially started...Paige is in sports!  We officially started tball this morning.  She was the first game of the day at 8:00 AM.    Rob and I didn't know how she'd do she usually ends up crying when we work on stuff at home.  But she did great!  She listened to her couch and had a lot of fun.  They worked on throwing, batting, and fielding.  It was so much fun to watch the girls all figure out when to run to the base, how to field a ball.  Rob and I had a great time!

Warming up with some running

Learning how to throw, point to where you want it to go

Batting practice!

Someone was SUPER jealous that he didn't get to go out there.  He kept telling Rob "I hit it!"

Pat's Surprise Party!

Saturday evening we celebrated my step-mom.  She had a milestone birthday this year and my Dad threw her a surprise birthday party.  We all gathered at the Latin King in Des Moines and waited for them to get there.  We had three very excited little girls as they didn't know it was going to happen until right before we went to dinner.  It was so great to be with our family and all of their friends.  We saw a lot of people we haven't seen in a while and we all celebrated Pat!

Paige's Day!

Oh my Paigey girl is 5.  We celebrated her for the whole day.  Our day started with opening presents in our bed as usual, we've done this every year since we bought this house.

Kristin: She wanted Sophie to see that she has Pop the Pig now!

We then surprised her with donut holes for breakfast!  Henry wasn't disappointed in this at all.

At daycare Paige had a party.  She had a movie day that was her choice in movie, they decorated cupcakes and I brought pizza for lunch.

We then went out for dinner that night Paige's choice.  She chose Chinese which is amazing!!  As you can see Henry didn't want to stop eating soup for this picture.

My baby is so grown up.  The day after her birthday we went to her elementary school to have her Kindergarten ID photo taken.  She was so excited to be at the school and get to see new places that we hadn't seen before.  She's just the best thing that ever happened to Rob and I.
