Hello Family and Friends! I feel like it's been awhile since I've updated on here. We actually stayed home for an entire weekend which doesn't happen if you all know us. It was so much fun!! So I have pictures and videos that are highly entertaining.
I'll start with a baby update. I officially entered the third trimester on Friday and I can tell. Apparently everyone else can too as I've had more comments about the size of my belly and when I'm going to have this baby more in the last week then ever before. I feel pretty good. My energy has gone way down and I get out of breath quickly. But I have a very active boy in there and my doctor always says, "active means healthy". So I'll take it! Paige actually got to feel him move. It was the greatest moment ever and one of the funniest. She was laying with her head on my leg and we were just talking to calm her down for the night when he kicked her in the head (I assume in a couple years I'll be writing that sentence again except he'll actually have kicked her in the head). So I told her to put her hand on my belly, she put it on there and started talking to him. She loves coming to my belly and saying, "HI! It's your big sister!!" Well he started moving like crazy. Paige busted out laughing so hard which got me laughing. She just can't wait to be a big sister and we can't wait to meet this little man either.

Friday night I had some much needed girl time (who would have ever thought I'd write that). Brittany (our neighbor turned amazing friend) and I went out to Old Chicago. We had dinner and then ran some errands. It was so nice to get out and just have dinner with a friend. When I got home, this is what my little girl looked like. I jus wanted to crawl in bed with her!
Saturday we spent the day cleaning and working on things around the house. Paige is getting so good at playing by herself and keeping herself entertained. When someone grows up in a tiny home at the beginning our her life she's used to someone always being there. It's getting a lot better!! I was working on cleaning out the baby's closet and getting it set up for him. In the mean time this is what my daughter was doing.
She's wearing a headband, her life jacket, and my wedding shoes. I laughed so hard. She then went to the kitchen to show Rob who got a HUGE kick out of it as well. She will not let me donate my wedding shoes as she has told me that they are her glass slippers. So they now live in her room!
Paige and I cleaned out our diaper stock pile as part of the closet project. I think we're pretty prepared for our little man to join our family.
This is the only sneak peak I'm giving o the baby's room. I'm going to wait to do a full blog post when the nursery is done. But I had to share this amazing picture one of my friends did for me. I found this picture on etsy. Rob and I instantly fell in love with it. Once we started investigating it and the price we realized there was no way we were going to spend $100 for 4 prints w/out frames. Now I work in a building full of graphic designers as well as I'm still close to the graphic designer from my previous job. So I emailed Dan the link and said how long would it take you to recreate this? After he assured me it would take him no time at all, and have 3 color changes. He sent me the file and I was able to get it printed and cut at a local print shop for $8!!! It is one of my favorite things in this nursery and now I'm trying to think of something for Paige's new room.
While we were hanging out on Saturday, Paige decided to have a dance party (girl after her mom's heart). So I was able to catch some of it on video. Enjoy because these are still cracking me up today. If you can't see them in our email it's because you have to actually go to the blog and watch them online.
