Better Late Then Never

Well going through my camera today I found pictures from Carly's birthday party.  A couple weekends ago we went and celebrated Miss Carly.  She had a bowling party and it was Paige's first time bowling.

Paigey's 4th Birthday Party

Well today we celebrated Paigey turning 4.  We had our family up and had so much fun!!

So let's start the crazy amount of pictures I took today.  This is Paige's awesome cake!  So like last year my food stylist friend from work Mandy made Paigey's cake.  I let my 3 year old on Pinterest to look at cakes.  She picked this one!  Mandy is an amazing job of creating this cake!!

These are my munchkins cuddling this morning before the whole thing got started!

I love these pictures!  I love almost all of my nieces and nephews all at one table!  We were missing Ty and Sophie, but these are all 8 Wallace grandkids.

Paigey was one spoiled little girl today.  She got so many presents and was so excited!  It was so funny because my nephew Colin just kept standing right in front of me when I was trying to take pictures.

Thank you Papa Gary and Grandma Pat for the baseball tee.  She already tested it out this afternoon.

Mandy I hope you see the sheer joy and excitement on this little girls face.  You made her day.  My nieces were also all very excited about the cake and wanted to figure out how you got that Ana doll in there.

So after naps for everyone except Dad, we decided that Paigey could open one of our presents (the rest we're saving for her actual birthday on Monday).  She picked a good one!

I will tell you this little man melts my heart today.  Him and I both have colds and it's like he empathizes with me.  This morning I coughed and he instantly turned and hugged me.  But these smiles today have made me go back to using my real camera and not just my phone.

We then decided to go outside!  It was finally a nice day.  It was also the first time Henry sat in a swing.  He loved it!!

Oh the look of excitement on her face is the best

It was a great day today!  I love celebrating with our family!!

Spring Is Coming!!

Well it's been a crazy week at work for me.  Yesterday I decided to take today off and spend it with Rob.  When I actually left work at 5:00 and realized it was 57 degrees outside I was so excited.  I picked up my kids and got them eating dinner so that when Rob got home we could get outside.  We went on a walk with Paigey riding her bike.  I can't believe how good she has gotten at riding her bike!  She's so fast!  Henry loved being outside and had so much fun at the school playground by our house.  It was nice to get out and have some fresh air.  Enjoy all of the pictures!

Henry Hartz v. Table Food

Well in my last blog about Henry I was so excited to start table food. HA!  This little boy is stubborn compared to Paige and I thought Paige was hard headed.  We let him try so many different things when switching him over.  He only wanted to eat things in the cracker or cereal family.  That's all well and good except that he can't live off of crackers and cereal.  What Rob and I have learned about Henry is he is only stubborn for a week.  He puts up a really hard fight and then gives in.  Daycare has been GREAT with helping us with this transition.  Lynn (Henry's teacher) is great!!  She has been putting his highchair by all the other kids who eat real food.  He now is eating because of that.  We followed suit and have placed his high chair next to Paige at our table.  He's doing great now.  He still gets frustrated I'm pretty sure because he isn't getting full as fast as he wants.  But we have cut off the baby food teaching him that this is his option.  He's doing much better.  we're finding things he likes and for sure things he doesn't.  So crazy to think my last kid is done with baby food.  NUTS!!!

Excited for Rob

So this is just a little update on Robert.  He would never blog about this nor does he really talk about it.  Rob was promoted at work recently.  I'm so very proud of him.  He's worked really hard and things finally fell into place for him.  Rob has gone from being the Regional Credit Manger and managing 3 people to being the Credit Manger and managing 11 people.  He's already taken a couple bumps in the road but is very excited and optimistic for his future.  We're all so proud of him and glad that all of his hard work is paying off!

Paigey The Scientist

I'm telling you, I LOVE Paige's daycare teachers right now.  This has been one of Paige's favorite years ever.  Normally by this time she is ready to move onto the next room, she doesn't want to go to school.  Denise and Lisa have made school so exciting for her.  They do some of the funnest stuff this year.  This week alone they have gone on a field trip to the science center, which Paige can't stop talking about, and then today they did science projects.  Her teacher set up a Facebook group where she posts pictures doing all of their fun stuff.  It's such a highlight to see pictures of my girl during the day knowing she's having so much fun.  When you scroll down you'll see her doing her experiment.  Denise told me that she had so much fun.  We will be very sad at the end of May when Paige has to switch rooms.  I know we'll all miss Denise, Lisa, Renee, and Ally.

9 months!

Well family and friends it's happened....Henry is 9 months old.  I'm so happy and sad all at the same time.  I'm excited for the summer where I'm sure I'm going to have a little boy who is running.  You see Henry is already pulling up next to things.  He's already letting go just to see if he can stand by himself and he does stand by himself for a little bit.  He's doing things at a pace much faster then his sister.  Mostly because he wants to go with his sister.  Those two are just head over heels in love with each other and I can't ask for anything more then that.  I walked into daycare this morning and they started talking to me about changing his schedule again to adjust to eating TABLE FOOD.  Then she started prepping me for when they take his morning nap away and he goes to one big afternoon nap.  All of the emotions I had of when this happened with Paige all hit me as I walked out the door.  When he's in the next room at daycare is when Paige started sleeping on a cot, starting eating at the table and got rid of her binkie.  I think this is the first time I've actually just stopped and been like where did time go.  I've been so excited for him to do stuff that now I'm like holy moly.  But I was just talking to a friend of mine who has a 4 month old.  I was writing stuff and I thought Nik take your own advice.  Babies are constantly changing, I know this already since I have an ALMOST 4 year old.  I'm telling you though I love this little buddy.  He's 100% on the move.  He's fast and into everything.  I guess that's what having a boy is, right?  But I wouldn't trade him for anything.  I mean look at that face!!  Ok sappy moment over, WOW.

Ok, 9 month appointment stats.  He weighed in at 25 lbs and 30.5 inches long.  Our doctor was so thrilled to walk into the room and see Henry standing next to something and then take off crawling.  He told us most babies he sees Henry's size don't want to do anything.  Their content with just hanging out (According to his grandma his Dad may have fell into this category when he was little).  So we are supposed to start table foods, start working really hard with sippy cups to prepare for whole milk.  That's right people 3 months left of buying cans of formula!!!

We hope everyone is surviving what feels like a never ending winter.  We are all very ready to get outside and play.
